Kinder High’s 2021 graduate Jessica Delosey received a $500 scholarship from Barksdale Federal Credit Union in Oakdale recently.
Delosey had the highest GPA and graduated summa cum laude. She plans to study pre-med/biology at McNeese. Her goal is to become a doctor.
Delosey is the daughter of Brad and Debbie Delosey of Kinder. She is the granddaughter of Semi Karam of Kinder and Gwen Delosey of Carlyss.
In high school, Delosey served as an athletic trainer for the football team during her freshman and sophomore years. She was involved in 4-H, Beta and Teens for Christ. She also participated in the Literary Rally.
Her hobbies include working and hanging with her friends. She has studied the piano for nine years. She enjoys reading and swimming. She also likes to edit photos and at one time she had her own website. Delosey also enjoys helping in the kitchen when home and baking.
