The Kinder Chamber of Commerce recognized its Administrative Assistant of the Year, also known as Secretary of the Year, at its annual banquet on Wednesday, April 21. The Chamber also bestowed honors on local citizens for their accomplishments in the year of 2020. The annual Chamber banquet held each January was rescheduled and canceled due to Covid earlier this year. In the top row, left photo, center, C.J. Fontenot, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to the Town of Kinder where he continues to serve as a councilman. The Business of the Year for 2020 honors went to A-Won Ace Hardware and was accepted by Tara Whetstine and Heather Touchet. On the right, Eric Kuyper was named the 2020 Citizen of the Year. Williams served as master of ceremonies at the Administrative Assistant Banquet.
