New guidelines set by the state for gatherings in regards to COVID-19 were released by the Louisiana Fire Marshal last week. At the same time, St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder announced it would begin conducting Mass on site for parishioners on Saturday, May 2.
Information from the church stated, “We will be able to allow up to 10 people per daily Mass (which includes the presider). You can only reserve a seat by calling the Rectory at 738-5612 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Tuesday thru Friday.”
This option began Thursday, April 30th, for parishioners.
The Mass schedule along with live streaming will be:
•Monday (Communion Service) 8:30 a.m.
•Tuesday 8:30 a.m. or 5:30 p.m.
•Wednesday 8:30 a.m. or 5:30 p.m.
•Thursday 8:30 a.m.
•Friday 8:30 a.m. (Confession 10-11:30 a.m.)
•Saturday 4 p.m. (65 years of age or older, only)
(Confession 1:30 to 3 p.m.)
•Sunday 8 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
