KINDER – Graveside services were held for Sharon Fontenot, 72, of Kinder, Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at 10 a.m. in Kinder McRill Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Father Keith Pellerin officiated.
Sharon passed away April 3, 2020. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday April 6, 2020, in Reed Funeral Home.
Sharon was a retired teacher aid who loved working with the children of Kinder. Then she became a scrub nurse in Kinder.
She enjoyed cooking and spending with her family and grandchildren. She will always be remembered as someone who always took the time to visit with everyone and truly enjoyed visiting.
Sharon was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and graduate of Kinder High School
Those left to cherish her memory her husband of 51 years Claude John “CJ” Fontenot of Kinder, LA; son, Eric John Fontenot and wife Lorrie of Kinder; daughter, Amy Constance and husband John of Moss Bluff; Siblings, Thophile LaFargue; Tanny LaFleur, Susanne Powers and Sheila Jacobs all of Kinder.
