Motion was made by Matt dyer to order air packs through state contract, seconded by Randy Deshotel and unanimously approved.
Motion was made by Randy Deshotel to check specs on truck for chief, seconded by Andrew Willis and unanimously approved.
Motion was made by Randy to get specs on new fire truck, seconded by Andrew Willis and unanimously approved.

Motion was made by Randy Deshotel to continue using Royce Scimimi as our CPA, seconded by Andrew Willis and unanimously approved.
Motion was made by Randy Deshotel to continue with audit rather than astetation, seconded by Matt Dyer and unanimously approved.
Motion was made by Andrew Willis to order chiefs truck, seconded by Matt Dyer and unanimously approved.
Motion was made by Randy Deshotel to order new fire truck, seconded by Matt Dyer and unanimously approved.

Meeting
November 12, 2024
On the 12th day of November, 2024 at 5:30p.m. commissioners met in a Special/Regular Session. The meeting was call to order and on roll call the following members of the body were present:
MESSERS: Dr. Charles Vidrine, Dr. R.E. Bacon, Isaac Rhines and Joyce Johnson
ABSENT: Michelle Snell
Also, present were Tina Guillory, Executive Director
The Commissioner Bacon ordered that the following Waiver and Consent be spread upon the minutes.
WAIVER OF NOTICE OF AND CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING
We, the undersigned do hereby accept notice of this Regular/Special Meeting, waiving and all irregularities in the service of notice and do hereby consent and agree that the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Oakdale, Louisiana, shall meet at their regular meeting place at 5:30p.m. on the 12th day of November 2024, for the following purposes:
1. SEMAP (Section 8 Management Assessment Program)
2. Payment Standards for Section 8 Program
3. Policies-ACOP (Admission and Continue Occupancy Policy) and Administration Policy for Section 8 Program
To transact any other business that may come before the meeting.

There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted.
RESOLUTION NO. 2079
WHEREAS THERE IS A NEED, for the Board of Commissioners to approve the SEMAP (Section 8 Management Assessment Program) certification for the Section 8 Program and submit to the Department of Housing and Urban Development before November 29, 2024.
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Board of Commissioners has approved the SEMAP certification for the Section 8 Program and to submit to the U.S. Dept. of HUD before November 29, 2024.
After discussion Commissioner Johnson moved that the resolution be adopted as introduced and read. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Rhines and on roll call the following vote was recorded:
AYES: Bacon, Johnson, Vidrine, Rhines
NAYS: None
The Chairman thereupon declared the motion carried.
RESOLUTION NO. 2080
WHEREAS THERE IS A NEED, for the Board of Commissioners to approve the payment standards for the Section 8 Program at a 110% of the published FMRs established October 1, 2024 with the effective date of January 1, 2025.

After discussion Commissioner Bacon moved that the resolution be adopted as introduced and read. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Johnson and on roll call the following vote was recorded:

RESOLUTION NO. 2081
WHEREAS THERE IS A NEED, for the Board of Commissioners to approve the ACOP (Admission and Continued Occupancy Policy) for public housing and the ADMIN Plan for the Section 8 Program effective January 1, 2025.
BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Board of Commissioners has approved the ACOP (Admission and Continued Occupancy Policy) for public housing and the ADMIN Plan for the Section 8 Program effective January 1, 2025.
After discussion Commissioner Rhines moved that the resolution be adopted as introduced and read. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Johnson and on roll call the following vote was recorded:
A YES: Bacon, Johnson, Vidrine, Rhines
NAYS: None
The Chairman thereupon declared the motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the meeting Commissioner Bacon moved that the meeting be adjourn, which motion was duly seconded by Commissioner Johnson and carried by unanimous vote.
The Chairman thereupon declared the meeting adjourned.
