Changes are underway to the Allen Parish Community Healthcare campus as the second phase of the hospital’s expansion project comes to a close.
In a statement this week, leaders said, “Starting today November 14, our hospital’s main entrance will be moving to the left of our current location. We have placed signage around the campus to help guide you to our new facility for the registration department, outpatient testing departments, mammography, surgical services, emergency department and visitor access.”
The second phase of the hospital’s three-phase project to replace the hospital’s 55-year-old structure is coming to completion. This phase, constructed west of the existing hospital building, includes an emergency department, two operating rooms, a GO suite for endoscopy, labs, radiology and a new lobby are just a few of the updated areas coming online.
Jackie Reviel, CEO, issued a message to the community, complete with a rough map and some information for the public recently. She said, “We are pleased to announce that our hospital’s main entrance will be relocating to a new and improved space to better serve you. This main entrance will be used to serve you in the registration department, outpatient testing departments, mammography, surgical services, emergency department and access for all visitors. This move is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance your experience and streamline the registration process.”
Reviel’s message ended with, “We are excited about the improvements this move will bring and look forward to serving you in our new location. Should you need further assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (337) 738-2527.
Previously, the hospital opened a new rural healthcare clinic, adjacent to the hospital, to serve the community.
