Keeping up with school activities might seem trivial during the summer months, but schools continue to post student and educator achievements on their websites. Don’t forget to visit and see what’s new on the school’s Facebook™ pages.

Elizabeth High’s cheerleader squad had a great week, last week. Their hard work paid off at cheer camp and the girls came home with some new hardware! The school’s faculty and students can’t wait until next season to see all the skills the girls have acquired.
The girls came home with:
•Small Varsity Home Pom Routine Champion.
•Small Varsity Game Day Routine Runner-Up.
•SCA Safety First Award.
Individual awards were given to:
•All-American Cheerleaders – Saige, Alia, Faith and Darby.
•Jump off Finalist – Alia.
An Elizabeth High alumni also presented the school with a gift recently. Kenneth Tilton, a 1961 EHS graduate, hand carved the school’s newest bulldog out of cedar wood and generously donated it to the school. Tilton currently resides in Sulphur, with his wife, Alice, and family, but EHS will forever be his home where generations of family members still attend today.
