Kinder joined other communities across the state and nation to pray for its military, schools, community, first responders, leaders, etc. The program, organized by Josh LaCour included the posting of colors by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 215. The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Hailey Hayes, and Blakely Allen recited the Christian pledge. Councilwoman Angie Van Norman welcomed everyone in place of Mayor Wayland LaFargue. Maudrey Stenson gave the testimony on prayer. Ken Bushnell performed God Bless the USA. Prayers came from: Rev. Steve Haymon, Town of Kinder; Rev. Kevin Willis, military; Kenney Courville, schools/education; Rev. Mike Riggs, first responders; Rev. Brian Courville, churches Rev. Bob Johnston, nation/government; Rev.
