Meeting March 12, 2024
Allen Parish Ambulance Service Board of Directors met for monthly meeting at the Allen Parish Ambulance Service Office on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 4:30p.m.
Member’s Present: Lowell Keys, Al Ritter, Sarah Ryland, Chuck Welch, and Sharon Grundy
Chairman Keys called the meeting to order promptly at 4:30 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all.
Motion by Ritter, seconded by Ryland to approve and dispense with the reading of the minutes from February 6, 2024 meeting. Motion passed.

New Business:
Motion by Welch, seconded by Ryland to approve (3) write-offs in the amount of $557.10. Motion passed.
Motion by Ryland, seconded by Grundy to submit (8) bad debt accounts to collections in the amount of $16,801.21. Motion passed.
Motion by Ritter, seconded by Welch to approve Policy and Procedure manual updates. Motion passed.
Motion by Welch, seconded by Grundy to approve new pay scale. Motion passed.
Motion by Ryland, seconded by Welch to approve Steven Simon as a full-time paramedic effective 3/16/2024. Motion passed.
Motion by Ritter, seconded by Ryland to approve Justin Francois as a part-time EMT effective 3/15/2024. Motion passed.
Motion by Ryland, seconded by Grundy to purchase ALS Adult Torso trainer manikin and ALS pediatric trainer manikin. Motion passed.
Executive Director Istre gave the Fleet Report and Financial Report. Istre discussed financials and reviewed budget variances with the Board.
Motion by Ryland, seconded by Ritter to adjourn. Motion passed.
