The meeting was called to order by President Logan Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. He led the Board in prayer and Pledge of Allegiance was said by all.
Reggie motioned to accept the previous meeting minutes as read and Gary seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Adam informed the Board that the water district received the third new truck.
Adam updated the Board on Well 3 generator and Well 5. During annual inspection it was found that Well 3 generator has bad head gaskets that will need to be addressed. We are awaiting quotes for repair.
Also, during annual pump test the motor failed at Well 5. Griner Drilling is preparing a plan of action needed for repair.
The Board reviewed & discussed the Financial Report. Gary made a motion to accept the Financial Report and pay all bills submitted and Reggie seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Adam reported on the water system. Three new pumps were delivered that were ordered for the main wells, Buck booster and to have a spare on hand. Pressure pump one was replaced at the wells. The ground storage tank pump at Buck still needs to be replaced.
The two final VFD’s for the casino system were installed. He also stated that the system is waiting on tank inspections.
Reggie made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:32 p.m. and Gary seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Public Notice
Cleco Power LLC, LPSC Tariff No. 42, Renewable Power Producers Auxiliary Service Rider.
Pursuant to Article IV, Section 21(D)(1) of the Louisiana Constitution, notice is hereby given that on January 4, 2024, Cleco Power LLC (“Cleco” or “Company”) filed with the Louisiana Public Service Commission (“LPSC”) Original Electric Tariff No. 42, Renewable Power Producers Auxiliary Service Rider (“RPPA”), Original Rate Schedule – RPPA to be effective as of February 1, 2024.
Service under Rate Schedule – RPPA (the “Schedule”) will be available to renewable power producers that require auxiliary power for control rooms and ancillary equipment. The Schedule is applicable to renewable power producers commencing service after the effective date of the Schedule. The Schedule requires a minimum of 30 kilowatts of contract demand for which the Customer must contract under the terms of an Agreement for Service with the Company. The Customer will receive service in accordance with Cleco Power’s Large Power Service (“LPS”) Rate Schedule and abide by the rate provisions of Rate Schedule – LPS and all applicable riders and all subsequent LPSC-approved changes, additions and updates, except as specifically modified by Rate Schedule – RPPA. Service furnished under Rate Schedule – RPPA is additionally subject to the Company’s Standard Terms and Conditions for Electric Service and all applicable rider schedules and adjustment clauses.
Rate Schedule – RPPA will apply in all parishes served by the Company. The twenty-four parishes through which Cleco Power’s service area extends are: Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Catahoula, DeSoto, Evangeline, Grant, Iberia, Jefferson Davis, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Red River, Sabine, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Vermilion, Vernon and Washington.

This is to certify that the Allen Parish Tax Assessor (Richard C. Earl) has complied with Louisiana Revised Statute 39:1307 relative to public participation in the budget process for the Tax Assessor’s Original Budget for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.
On November 23, 2023, public notice was published in the Kinder Courier setting forth the budget summary, notice of the availability of the proposed budget for public inspection, and the date and time of the public hearing on such budget. On December 13, 2023, the public hearing was held and the budget was adopted. The Tax Assessor has fully complied with all applicable statutes pertaining to the budget process.
