The Allen Council on Aging is currently conducting its annual membership drive for the agency, which will close January 4, 2024. Membership is open, without restrictions to the residents of Allen Parish who have reached the age of majority.
Membership applications are available at the ACOA Main Office located at 602 E 5th Ave, Oakdale, and at the Allen Parish Senior Center, 314 S 6th St., Oberlin. All members and the public are invited to attend the annual membership meeting that will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the Allen Parish Senior Center, 314 S. Sixth St., Oberlin.
The annual membership meeting of the Allen Council on Aging is held every year for the purpose of nominating and electing board members; accepting the annual report; and conducting any other business that may arise. If transportation is needed, please call 1-800-256-2851.
