June’s report continued to slowly increase overall after May showed a 6.12 growth overall and April’s report was negative. The parish saw an increase of 11.55 percent growth in June for the monthly comparisons and 3.23 percent growth for the year-to-date comparisons.
In monthly comparisons, the Town of Oberlin saw a decrease of $13,996.97 or 46.65 percent. Elizabeth also saw a decrease of $5,449.62 or 44.04 percent. Allen Parish Occupancy Tax saw a decline of $2,018.45 in month-to-month collections (-41.93 percent). The tourist commission saw a decrease of $6,055.40 (-41.93 percent).
The school board (#1 and #2 – $81,894.29 and $41,030.41) and police jury ($60,951.79) saw increases along with Kinder ($8,083.55), Oakdale ($17,457.07), Kinder’s library and sewage ($2,425.16), sheriff ($41,030.38) and Reeves ($3,167.21) during the month-to-month comparisons.
