On Thursday, July 13, the veterans from American Legion Post 244 gave out free drive-up breakfast plates to anyone who came by from 7 to 8:30 a.m. The plates were given until the veterans ran out. They handed out over 100 to-go-breakfast-plates. Jerrie Ledoux from U.S. Congressman Mike Johnson’s office assisted the group.

American Legion Post 144 met for its monthly meeting on July 11. Any veterans interested in attending a meeting are asked to please join this group on the second Tuesday of every month at Post 144 in Oberlin, Highway 165, next to Veterans Park!!
