Separate sealed bids for the CITY OF OAKDALE, LOVE LOUISIANA OUTDOORS PROGRAM, will be received by the City of Oakdale at the office of Pan American Engineers, LLC (1717 Jackson Street, Alexandria, Louisiana 71301) until 2:00 P.M. (Central Time) on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after the specified time and date will not be considered.
The Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Agreement Between Owner and Contractor, Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds, Drawings and Specifications, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following location:

The work is generally described as follows: Recreational park improvements at the City of Oakdale 7th Avenue & Highway 372 Parks.
Copies of the bidding documents shall be obtained from the office of Pan American Engineers, LLC upon deposit of $250.00 for each set of documents. The deposit on the first set of documents furnished to bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids. On other sets of documents furnished to bidders, the deposit less actual cost of reproduction will be refunded upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids.
The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Public Bid Law.
In accordance with L.R.S. 38:2212.B.(1), the provisions and requirements stated in the Bidding Documents shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived.
Each Bidder must deposit with the bid, security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid bonds shall be written by a surety or insurance company meeting the requirements noted in L.R.S. 38:2218.
The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount, written by a surety or insurance company meeting the requirements noted in L.R.S. 38:2219 A.(1)(a), (b) and (c), or for Federally funded projects, must be listed as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570.
Attention of Bidders is called particularly to the requirements for conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract (Davis-Bacon Act), Section 3 (Low Income Resident Participation) of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Section 109 (Non-Discrimination) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Section 503 (Non-Discrimination Against Employees with Disabilities) and Section 504 (Non-Discrimination Against Individuals with Disabilities) of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Segregated Facilities, Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Louisiana and bonding and insurance requirements.

AN ORDINANCE TO CORRECT THE DESCRIPTION OF IMMOVABLE PROPERTY IN THE SALE OF ADJUDICATED PROPERTY TO ADJOINING LAND OWNERS, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE SIGNING OF AN ACT OF CORRECTION
A public meeting on said Ordinance will be held on December 7, 2023, at 6:15p.m. at the City Hall in Oakdale Louisiana. On the 1st day of November, 2023 at 5:30p.m. commissioners met in Special/Regular Session.
The meeting was called to order and on roll call the following members of the body were present:
