Allen Parish District Attorney Joe Green announced his appointment of a new Assistant District Attorney in his office. Stacey C. Naquin was sworn in on April 5, 2022, in open court with District Judge Judi Abrusley presiding. Green indicated Naquin will assist with felony prosecutions, as well as civil matters, on behalf of his office. Naquin had been an assistant district attorney in Jefferson Davis Parish for 17 years prior to joining the Allen Parish DA’s office. Her experience is in felony prosecutions, especially sexual assault cases, misdemeanor cases and juvenile and child support matters. Naquin graduated from Jennings High School, LSU and LSU Law School. She has been married to her husband, Andy, for close to 20 years, and they have two children. Naquin stated, “I am honored and excited to serve the people of Allen Parish. Everyone has been very kind and welcoming, and I look forward to working hard with law enforcement and the others in our office to make sure the parish and the victims of crimes are well-represented and given a strong voice.” Green noted, “The people of Allen Parish will be well served by Stacey’s experience as a prosecutor. We are glad to have her on our team.”
