The annual Kinder Rotary Golf Tournament was held Friday, March 18. There were 15 teams competing in the competition. First, second and third place winners are shown on the top row. First place winners were Allen Parish Sheriff Doug Hebert, Kinder Police Chief Paul Courville and Charles Buck at the Rotary Scramble. Second place winners was the Heinen Medical Group Team, consisting of Ernie Deloach, Larry Fontenot and Nicky Chaumont. Third place winners were Pete Karam and his sons, Conner and Jordan. Organizers thanked sponsors and supporters for supporting the tournament which funds the Kinder High Rotary Scholarship. T-shirts, gifts and prizes were given during the event. Special thanks goes out to Coushatta Casino Resort for the use of its facilities. Winners of prizes included Tim Jacquez and his Kaosati golf crew for outstanding preparation and Emily Bertrand and her culinary staff for a wonderful meal.
