The Reeves Council welcomed Jackie Reviel, CEO, of the Allen Parish Community Healthcare, to its March 1, meeting. She gave an update on the hospital’s expansion plan. She said the five-year plan will occur over three phases and includes a surgical wing for the community. She expects ground breaking to occur on Monday, March 15.
There was no new business for the council.
In old business, the council learned they are waiting for a bid to arrive to replace the village’s welcome signs.
The council’s attorney, Chad Guidry, gave a presentation on the steps the council needs to take to condemn properties that were damaged by the storm and are not being repaired.
