Residents are just a mere 19 days away from election day. The ballot is posed to make major changes, not just on the national scale, but in local governments as well. In this story you will find a look at the ballot as well as a brief description of amendments.
All information is available for your personal research at www.sos.la.gov and parlouisiana.org. PAR is also known as the Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana. They are an independent research council. They offer other descriptions for each amendment in their guide to constitutional amendments such as an argument for, an argument against, the current law and the proposed change.
Early voting will be held October 16 – 27, (excluding Sunday, October 18, and Sunday, October 25,) from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
