Allen Parish Registrar of Voters Monica F. Warren said residents who have not used the GeauxVote app should take a look at it. Users can pull up a sample ballot with the app. Users can also find all of this information there as well as lots of other voter information.
Warren said, “You can make choices on your phone so you can pull it up when you are inside the polls. When you go to vote this may save time.”
Warren’s office joins Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin and other registrar voters across the state this week for Voter Registration Week, September 21, to September 25.
Emphasizing what Warren said about the use of the state’s app and how much information is given, Ardoin said, “Registering to vote is the critical first step in making your voice heard at the ballot box. This fall, voters will select leaders at all levels of government and I encourage all unregistered voters to register to vote. Check your registration status at GeauxVote.com or on the GeauxVote app.”
