Road District No. Two had a 10-year, 7.48 millage renewal from the Allen Parish Police Jury. There was 256 votes total cast on this millage with 184 for and 72 opposed.
This millage will allow the road district to collected an approximate $221,000 for each year levyed for the purpose of constructing, improving and maintaining parish roads and bridges within the district.
Recreation District No. One had a 10-year 3.10 millage renewal on the ballot. There were 296 votes total, 176 votes for and 120 against.
This millage will allow the recreation district to collect approximately $181,000 each year for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, maintaining and operating recreational facilities for the district.
